      This is a wonderful tutorial that basically uses only 5 notes. It also possibly demystifies some of Coltrane's improvisational skills. Don't get me wrong, Coltrane's skills were such that for performance majors in jazz at the University, pieces like Giant Steps are usually studied near the end part of their degree. This is not a study of Giant Steps. It's a study about using a pentatonic approach (focusing on 5 notes) during an improvisation. Hope you find it useful!
