Another thing you have to keep in mind is that trusting professional financial advice is also not without risk....brokerage agents have no legal obligation to act in a fiduciary way. At the same time good advice today is worthless tomorrow. I learned some things about stocks the hard way over the years. Spread your risk by diversification is my mind set and study your choices regularly.....and at base it is still gambling with more favorable odds than a bank CD.
No trumpet is guaranteed to go up in value over time..... but you won't wake up one morning and discover a major drop in value because of embargoes or the latest medical warning saying Martin Committees have been shown to produce cancer in musical chimpanzees, or some major management fraud had been perpetrated to build false trumpet value.
