    • Mouthpieces for early Buescher True Tone Trumpets--what works?

      Hello,
This is my first post here; I have an old True Tone from the late '20s (narrow receiver) with a newer Bach mouthpiece that doesn't fit well. I did some research and found that the standard True Tone mouthpieces from the time are shorter and have a different taper and cup which suit these horns best. Problem is, they rarely ever show up for sale, and when they do, it's price gougers asking the same price as a True Tone horn in good shape! A fair price would be about 40-60 according to eBay Terapeak data.
Are there any reasonably priced alternatives, ideally at or below that price? I've heard people suggest the Holton Heim 1 but that's not exactly cheap either.
Thank you in advance for your suggestions.
