      That's a NICE Jeep! Hard to be incognito in that great color!

      Mine started life as Standard yellow 20 years ago and begged for a change after that color became ubiquitous around here a few years later. The custom Cobalt Blue paint is not a Jeep color and gets lots of attention everyday even though the new paint is 14 years old! The top has been down for 10 years with just a bikini overhead. It is garage kept year round except on the clear weather days, keeping the mileage relatively low for an older version.

      Just remember that JEEP stands for Just Empty Every Pocket like many thing for the easily charmed (Warning! don't shop aftermarket personalization).

      Hope you take yours out topless often!

      Could you reference the Vizzuti book title. I'm very interested!

      @administrator

      Yes, as cbtj51 (I wanted to change the name pretty much right away, but couldn't)! I still visit TH often, but read a post by tobylou8 and then LaTrompeta's original post, followed the lead, and glad I did!

      When I First started back, my warm-up was my practice session! 😎 😎 😎

      Same here! I was forced to take the last 6 days off of daily practice and rehearsal by a very nasty virus. Today is my first day back and I spent it all on a carefully designed warm-up routine from the Bai Lin Lip Flexibilities book. No pain on purpose! I plan to add time and exercises into tomorrows session and continue ramping up due to a heavy schedule this coming week; 4 rehearsals and a performance next Friday. Similar schedule next week as well. To very loosely quote Dirty Harry "A man's got to know his limitations...(or his performance will definitely let him know!)"

      Let fatigue be your friend. When you loose control or start leaking air, step away from the horn for the day and start back at it tomorrow.

      This is excellent advice!

      @Dr-GO

      I really like the look and sound of the Getzen 4 valve (Freddie Hubbard's longtime favourite flugel)!

      I like the blend in your recording and the solo is very nice! Hope to hear more from you!

      @trickg I really enjoy what I see going on here as well. I was not a heavy participant in TM but I was a regular at TH and recognize many from both. Either way, this board is a breath of fresh air from my point of view. Looking forward to a long, happy association!

      @J-Jericho

      This is deceitful criminality! One aspect of covetousness is not just the desire to possess what another has, but to prevent them from enjoying it as well! This act reveals a very scary side of human nature and underlines the need for us to get as much enjoyment as we can in the moment! Nothing lasts forever and justice shall prevail!

      Pulling my old Chase vinyl out off a dusty shelf now! Guess I'll be back in the 70s for awhile again today! Keep it coming, the 70s were a pretty good time (the parts that I remember anyway!).

      That's a new one for me as well! The prints of many of their predecessors and contemporaries are evident throughout and the Crosby, Stills and Nash vocal influence is one of the standouts! Reminds me of my early college dorm room diversions!
