Hi y’all, my name is LaDonna. I played trumpet in Jr. High and High School and after a 45 year break of playing trumpet decided to get back into playing. A year and a half later I joined a community band and about 6 mo after joining one community band I joined another community band, I might even join another community band next spring. At my current age I find my dexterity, my endurance, and my range isn’t what it use to be, but I find playing again is therapeutic. I am also a member of a group of wonderful encouraging trumpet players who are always ready to give me assistance.
