Trying to locate ....

Hi, I'm not a trumpeter. Back in 1974 I went through basic training with a Tom Skinner. I believe Tom was sent to a military band or the School of Music as a trumpter.
I believe he was from the Syracuse area of New York and would be 73 or so.
After basic I was assigned to the USMA Band as a piano player.
I always wondered what happened to him and was wondering if anyone here knows of him.
