Just picked up a Silver Cavalier trumpet serial 06391 at the local thrift store with a Rudy Muck 17c cushion rim mouthpiece for 65 bucks. Can anyone tell me any information, history, year about this horn. Thanks

Look at the Hornucupia website. Click on maker, drag to cavalier. It will bring you to the Conn company. Scroll down to 1931.Cavalier was part of Pan American which was a division of Conn.

OOPS. Forget what I posted below. I see Gendreauj already replied.

I'm pretty sure it is an early Conn student trumpet. Look up the Conn Loyalist site on Google and it may be mentioned there. I stand to be corrected, but I remember something about the name Cavalier and Conn student horns.

1960s King Super 20 Silversonic, 1940 Olds Recording, 1942 Buescher True Tone 400 ,1999 Conn Vintage One Bb trumpet, A 1952 Selmer Paris, A 2020 Getzen 400 and a Manchester Brass ACB custom pro Bb trumpet, a 1962 Conn Victor 5A Cornet.

All good. You have an excellent memory. I had to look it up on the internet. A student trumpet of a student trumpet line. You are right Conn Loyalist does have more detailed information.

I didn't see it that way at all. We are lucky to have on this forum, such helpful members. Less of the massive egos other site have.
