Never seen Spinal Tap!? Well, that's one you can put on your list.
-
Spinal Tap.... One of my FAVORITE movies ever. So much that I could relate to. If you EVER played rock music, this movie will be a joy. It's one of those movies where you can watch it multiple times and find new things each time.

A lot of great lines ("to eleven") and vignettes (Stonehenge) but my favourite, and one which I can relate to, getting lost in the concert hall's underground. Man, that's hilarious . . . and true.

You'll find watching this on full screen to be quite interesting:

Very nice. I always liked Kaempfert's orchestra and have a few LPs in my record collection. My favorite has always been Wonderland By Night, a piece I love to play on the trumpet.

@Dr-GO
Check out the EWI solo at the beginning of Song for Barry
-
An interesting use of trumpet for a more new age performer:
-
My favourite is the Armed Man by Karl Jenkins, particularly Sanctus. His Orchestral Amadeus is fantastic too.
-
New Age? Hardly. its This is Latin - and heavily. New Age is Enya, Steve Halperin, Liz Story, George Winston and the like.
BTAIM, I wish I had the trumpeter's gig and chops.

New Age?
By new age (note: no caps), I meant a new age of musicians. I guess New Age (note: with caps) may have different contexts.

Just clarifying for any ill-informed readers. BTAIM. what is modern about that?
