Unbelievable. Too young and for no reason.

Holly $hit. This is just unbelievable! First Roy Hargrove, and now Wallace Roney. Youth is not invincible! And just when I had a theory that playing the trumpet would help be an asset to beating that disease. Man, this has really thrown me for a loop. Thanks Kehaulani for the update. Just blown away by this!

May you rest in peace.
Here's some Jazz for a very sad and tearful afternoon.
"Good Bye Mr. Roney"

Yeah, from what is happening world-wide, you just don't have to be an old fart like me to get this cursed virus. Stay safe, guys.

A great loss to the Jazz community. Youth may not be invincible, but he was hardly young at 59. Still too young to leave us, though. I got to play one of his horns once, closest I ever got to seeing him, but I think he has a newish album out?was planning on looking it up.
